Safeguarding
Every child who trains with CFA has the right to be safe, respected and protected. This is how we make sure of it.
Our commitment
These commitments apply at every academy session, match, camp and trip, in every country where CFA operates.
How we keep children safe
Safe recruitment
Coaches and staff are checked before working with children and hold recognised licences.
Training
Staff complete safeguarding training and know how to recognise and report concerns.
Supervision
Children are supervised at all times, with appropriate coach-to-player ratios.
Day to day
Communication
Coaches communicate with families, not privately with children.
Photos and video
We only publish images of children with parental consent, never with personal details.
Trips and camps
CFA staff travel with every group, with clear supervision and emergency plans.
Raising a concern
We act
Every concern is taken seriously and handled confidentially.
We follow up
We keep you informed and involve the right authorities where needed.
